BUSINESS NEWS – Carolina Solar Energy had a ribbon cutting this week at their newest solar farm located on the Durham Road on Crown Blvd.  This 650KW generator is already supplying power to the Duke Energy grid.  Look for real time output soon on their web site at: http://www.carolinasolarenergy.com/pcsp

 

Also Force Protection dedicated their new training facility and test track here in Roxboro this past Tuesday.  Currently, there are about 35-40 soldiers here each week training.  Welcome them as you see them in our restaurants and businesses!  More info at: http://www.forceprotection.net/

ADVISORY – Watch out for those school buses as they are back on the road.  Be sure to slow down and stop when lights are flashing and the stop sign is out.  Watch for small children appearing without warning and don’t assume they see you as they may step out in front of your vehicle.
