had a ribbon cutting this week at their newest solar farm located on
the Durham Road on Crown Blvd. This 650KW generator is already
supplying power to the Duke Energy grid. Look for real time

Also Force Protection dedicated their new
training facility and test track here in Roxboro this past Tuesday.
Currently, there are about 35-40 soldiers here each week training.

ENTERTAINMENT – The 30th
edition of our local Personality Festival is this Friday and
Saturday (August 28 & 29) in Uptown Roxboro. Personality has
something for everyone so be sure to check the schedule for
activities. There is a street dance tonight with the Holiday
Band which is FREE so be sure to come out and enjoy. Saturday
entertainment includes rides, booths, dance groups, church musical
