          Festival in Uptown Roxboro.  See

          and has something for every age kid up to 99!   The Castaway’s Band
          will be performing in Vesuvio’s II due to the weather starting at
          7:00 Friday night.  This is a free event for a fantastic band so
          come out and let the band entertain you while visiting Club V2 inside
          Vesuvio’s II in Uptown Roxboro!  Also on Saturday night at Club
          V2, local favorite The Pizazz Band will perform so there is no reason
          to stay cooped up in the house this weekend! Many events also
          happening on Saturday along with info booths so check out the

          Kiwanis Club is having their 54th annual Pancake
          Jamboree on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Person High School
          Cafeteria.  Tickets still only $5 for all you can eat pancakes,
          sausage, beverage and trimmings.  This is always a well attended
          community function and all the proceeds go this year to furnishing the
          family waiting room in the newly renovated Person Memorial Hospital
          along with other local charities they have supported such as: DARE,
          Christian Help Center, Special Olympics, Headstart, 4-H, Boy Scouts,
          Key Club, Scholarships, Santa’s Helpers, Key Club, VIP and many
          other worthwhile charities.  What better way to get a great meal
          (or meals since they serve all day) and contribute toward  very

          Christian Help Center and our Community at large. The Christian Help
