DSL NOW AVAILABLE – DSL high speed Internet service is now available in the South Hyco area.  This includes the following roads:

Wagstaff Road, Lynn Smith Road, Tanglewood Shores area, Kelly Brewer, Bridge Pointe, South Landing, Beech, Duck Pointe, Deer Meadow.  Call Bonnie or email her to verify coverage of your area: 336 597-2433 or bonnieking@esinc.net  Service areas limited to network equipment availability.

ENTERTAINMENT NEWS – The shag lessons are finishing up tonight (4/3/08) at The Flaming Star Nite Club.  The Castaways Band (http://www.castawaysband.com/ from the Triangle area will be providing the “graduates” and anyone else live music tonight so come join the fun at 8:30.  A $5 donation at the door will go to PCC for continuing education.  Thanks to The Flaming Star, Eldredge Meeler and PCC for bringing this event to us!  See more information on The Flaming Star web site at: www.theflamingstar.com

BURNING BAN LIFTED – The statewide burning ban has been lifted due to recent rains.  Still use caution when burning due to all the fallen brush and limbs during the recent drought.

BOAT LIFT SERVICES – I know you’ve encountered the problem all of us with boat lifts at some time or another – the lift goes down but it will not go up – it will not go down – the cables are frayed – the belt is slipping and so on!  Well who do you call for service??  Jamie Mundy.  Jamie lives on the lake and provides boat lift services.  Give him a call at: 336 599-0946  Don’t wait until it’s too late – check out the lift now.
