ENTERTAINMENT NEWS – The shag lessons
are finishing up tonight (4/3/08) at The Flaming Star Nite Club.
The Castaways Band (http://www.castawaysband.com/
from the Triangle area will be providing the “graduates” and anyone
else live music tonight so come join the fun at 8:30. A $5
donation at the door will go to PCC for continuing education.

BURNING BAN LIFTED –
The statewide burning ban has been lifted due to recent rains.
Still use caution when burning due to all the fallen brush and limbs
during the recent drought.

BOAT LIFT SERVICES – I know you’ve
encountered the problem all of us with boat lifts at some time or
another – the lift goes down but it will not go up – it will not go
down – the cables are frayed – the belt is slipping and so on!
